From AMSN
At the moment, some people is maintaining a svn version in their own ubuntu PPA repository.
This is the easy way if you feel like a newbie or simply if you don't want to compile amsn.
You will only need to add one of the following repositories to your /etc/apt/sources.list:
- Stéphane Marguet: https://launchpad.net/~stemp/+archive/ppa
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/stemp/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/stemp/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main
- Giuseppe Iuculano: https://launchpad.net/~giuseppe-iuculano/+archive/ppa
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/giuseppe-iuculano/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/giuseppe-iuculano/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
Then update and upgrade (as root of course):
apt-get update apt-get upgrade
