Maybe you have read some pieces of code or some emails from the mailing list and you are wondering what does xxx stand for.

Here is a list with some of the acronyms that the developers of aMSN use:


  • CL --> Contact List
  • CM --> Current Media: the music the contact is listening to. stored in a psm
  • CW --> Chat Window
  • DP --> Display Picture
  • ML --> Mailing List
  • PSM --> Personal Short Message
