lol,
no sorry snipe, I don't know of any french tutorial... and don't worry about ALL the commands, I don't know them, just to do a simple [string first], I always have to look in the man page, that's why I said you should have those pages in your bookmark... you will NEVER know them all, and you will never remember them, maybe 10% after a year... not even... in my case, I've been working with tcl/tk for 4 years now I think, and I still only know maybe 25 to 50% of the commands, and maybe I know 5% of the real syntax (like, I know [lsort] command exists, but don't know how to use it). So dont' worry about that.
about the plugins, some nice and small ideas are in this forum, and others in the wiki...
I think this keep alive plugin is a good idea and is simple enough, problem is that you'll need to also know a bit of amsn's API, but that's the best I think, don't be hasty, take 1 or 2 weeks or even a month if you want to devleop the plugin, by the time you'll learn tcl/tk, just by searchign for the API calls, you'll learn aMSN's internals and tcl/tk.
the more you look at it, the easier it gets Wink
good luck!
