I absolutely don't know whether this is possible or not, nor if other people would find it useful, but let me explain :

As I use many computers, my session is automatically started when one of these computers is started by someone else, even when I'm using it myself!
So every time, I get disconnected :s
I could simply disable the auto-start/auto-login function, but I find it really useful.

Isn't it possible to "block" the session to the first one that's connected?

No, that is impossible, it is the way the protocol works and hence it would require a server side change.
It makes sense that it is like this, because suppose you forget to sign off somewhere, you'd not be able to sign in anymore (unless you could 'manually override' that again).
So, perhaps forward your question to M$ Smiley

Yes, it''s what I was afraid of Smiley

Yes, indeed, but it's so boring right here that in this case it would have rox Cheesy

Loooool why not? But I guess they're quite less friendly and efficient than here ^^
But I'll try - just for fun Cheesy Cheesy

You could probably make a plugin that logs you back in if you get logged off due to being logged on somewhere else...

Lol, yeah, that's a nice idea.
Should not be difficult to implement at all.
Do have to consider the case where you're running this plugin on both clients though Smiley

well, if you run this on both clients and you 'mistakenly' forgot to log off at home, then I'd say it will get caught in an infinite loop of login/logout/login/logout until MSN server definitely block your account (thinking you're a spammer...) that's what happened years ago with one of my accounts, which is why my hotmail account has no MSN account...

Glps... I think I won't try so
I don't see how I could get rid of that problem (the plugin running on two separate computers, and trying to connect for ever...)

well, you could have a limit of 5 reconnects, but then it's annoying if you need to wait for it to connect/recoonect 5 times...
I could suggest you do not let anyone access your account at home... no ?

Well, at home there's no danger for my accounts, but as it's not possible, I will simply enable the auto-connect on only one computer. It seems to be the best solution !
