The last time I installed it (a few months ago) you could send and receive messages but that was about it.

I wish I was a good enough coder to contribute Sad

Development hasn't stoped nor nothing similar. We're working hard on it, and you'll get news about amsn1 and amsn2 really soon Smiley

That's a lie. However, this link isn't: https://github.com/amsn/amsn2/

Last update was 2 years ago. Bravo.

I'm not sure if you're trolling or really have been living in a cage the last year, but... oh well... here it goes a reply:

Both aMSN and aMSN2 projects (and pretty much every single MSN client out there) has frozen because MS is shutting down MSN servers in April 2014.
We won't make any future development on any of those projects as there isn't any sense in doing such a thing. MSN will die in short, and with that, all MSN clients (including aMSN and aMSN2).

Thats quite sad.
Any chance that the effort will be directed into creating an client for ym or for something new?

Life teached me to never say "never" (I'll never do Classic ASP --> got Classic ASP job  Undecided), but most probably 99.99% we're not going to re-write nor code from scratch any Skype client.  I'm sorry Sad
