Can't talk to an Skyped contact

Hi!
I haven't found anything on the forum, so... if it's already discussed, sorry.
I was chatting with people, and one contact told me he was going to merge his account with skype, so... once he was using skype for chatting I couldn't send anything to him, although he could send me messages.
Every time I was sending a message there was an error reporting that couldn't be delivered.
Do you know anything about it?

Strange, it should work. What version are you using?

It's the latest version on Arch:
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/amsn/
amsn 0.98.9-2 as they name it.
BTW, I forgot to mention that I tried to use pidgin and empathy, and the same behaviour happened but with another error message.

The fact that none of the clients you're trying with makes me think that it's probably some protocol change/misbehavior. If so, I'll try to look at it and fix it when I have some free time.
