Hi,

Just wondering if there is be a new release of aMSN 0.9x anytime soon?

There have been quite a few valuable commits since the last version was released.

I know that the aMSN is quite busy maintaining two separate versions and that a lot of work is being put in to aMSN 2, however it would be great to bring the last 14 months worth of aMSN work to the masses with a new minor release.

Thanks.

Will be done as soon as possible, but there is still missing one really important component: msnp2pv2
Once done that, we'll have a new aMSN release with full MSNP18 support, MPOP, OIMs...

Be patient Smiley

Interested in hearing more about what the upcoming release will involve.....

What does MSNP18 have that the current version does not etc?

aMSN is really the only decent aMSN clone out there. If I wasn't for aMSN, I'd be forced to use pidgen! Keep the progress coming guys Cheesy

Doing a quick search on Wikipedia, I noticed that the latest version of the following programs have less than one year:
Something that I could not avoid asking me is, do any of these programs currently supports the msnp2pv2? Because if so, then only be enough to take the necessary from any of these messengers (these programs are open source) and adapt it to aMSN.

P.S.: I know Ayttm not been updated since 2010, but I suspect that could have upgraded it with the msnp2pv2

I'm not sure if some of those supports msnp2pv2, but I really don't think so. Else I'd seem some of those apps doing video+audio.
Even further, we already know what/how to do msnp2pv2, just not finished coding  Embarrassed
