Hey whenever i try to log on i keep getting "logged on from another location". Which isn't true, i have read in other posts that Hotmail can be the cause of this but i have tried with aMSN being the only thing open so no internet so Hotmail is defiantly not logged on, any ideas? I have had this problem for months now i cant seem to fix it and it is really annoying having to use ebuddy all the time.
Also got this error when trying to log on today:
can't set "groups": upvar refers to variable in deleted namespace
    while executing
"set groups
    "
        (procedure "::Addressbook::Snit_methodABFindAllCallback" line 62)
        invoked from within
    "::Addressbook3 ABFindAllCallback {::Addressbook3 ABFindAllDone {::MSN::ABSynchronizationDone 0}} ::Addressbook::SOAPRequest11"
        ("eval" body line 1)
        invoked from within
    "eval $options(-callback) $self"

    Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I really don't know what to do. After a small chat with another dev, we decided to give a try to the new msn 18 protocol version. It's not fully implemented, so you won't have emoticons/display pictures/voice clips/audio-video, but you'll be able to do multipresence and login without problems (or at least I hope that).
To switch to P18 go to the main aMsn window and hit Ctrl + S. In the window that will show up write ::config::setKey protocol 18
Then restart aMsn.
Please give me some feedback about that.

Thanks for that, just tried it and now signing in without a problem! Do you know when it will be fully implemented? as one of the main reason i use use aMSN is for the video, but hey being able to sign in is much better than not at all.
Thanks

We are currently implementing it, but it may take some time to finish (noone of us has the required time to finish implementing it)

You must open the main amsn window (where your contacts are shown) and then press Ctrl + S

Upgraded to new version 0,98 on my IMac, since then I cannot send my webcam to my folks who are using old version 0.97 on Linux system. Downloaded old version again and deleted the new one off my Mac, now every time I try to login into the aMSN, I get "logged in other location". What seems to be the problem? Please help!!!

Hi, webcam wasn't *removed* from latest release. We were forced to turn it off because of protocol changes (MSN changed the way webcam conections work).
We're working on that one, and hopefully will restore that feature really soon.

For the logging issue, please upgrade to latest amsn.
