Hi there,

I'm using aMSN latest SVN 12289 on Ubuntu 10.10.
I just noticed (maybe it was the case before the latest SVN) that I lost all my custom smileys. Since this information is stored in config.xml, I tried to copy a backup over but it seems that aMSN rewrites the *.xml files at each boot/login/quit so all the custom smileys disappear...
Is it normal (aka I missed a news announcing it?) ?
Can someone help me out?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have the 'remember me' option checked ? and are you overwriting the config.xml from your profile not the global one ? also, make sure all instances of amsn are closed before overwriting config.xml, otherwise the changes will be lost

I indeed missed the last part of your answer. I've overwritten the config.xml file with aMSN closed and all my smileys are back :-)

Thank you very much for the support ^^
