Maemo link downloads 0.98.1 instead of 0.98.3

I have understood the download link http://www.amsn-project.net/maemo-downloads.php
should install 0.98.3. Now 0.98.1 gets installed

It seems to install something else than Maemo version because GUI looks same than in Ubuntu. Very difficult to use in small screen

I have Nokia N900 and I downloaded amsn version 0.98.1
When I open it I get a message which says a new version 0.98.3 is available
When I go to teh homepage, I find only one instalation file which installs 0.98.1!
Is there a link to download 0.98.3 for N900 directly?

If I check amsn fremantle repository setting in N900 it seems that fetch might happen from:
http://www.amsn-project.net/maemo/pool/amsn/amsn_0.98.1-1.deb
and in that directory structure there is no other version listed visible.

Same impression for having same old version comes from:
http://www.amsn-project.net/maemo/dists/fremantle/amsn/binary-armel/Packages

I have not studied package contents any further...

I forget to add - I still suspect this amsn_0.98.1-1.deb is not specific for fremantle.

Yes, we just never had time/bothered building 0.98.3 for the N900.. we're hoping someone would volunteer and do it, as I don't really have time to take care of that at the moment.

Why you have linked in your web page something that is not really for N900 under fremantle repository? Is there any older version available that is for fremantle and why dont you keep/direct repository in application catalog into that?

It is for the N900, it is for fremantle, but it's the version 0.98.1 of aMSN, we just never built the 0.98.3 package.

Oh, sorry. Screen shot image on web page makes one assume the GUI would look totally different from, let us say. Ubuntu or XP... My bad

no, it's the exact same GUI, I just used the 'dark matter' theme instead of the default one.
