I am running on amsn 0.98 and have recently added someone I know on aim as well (I have put a note on his msn name so I don't forget). Ever since I have added him, his window will randomly pop up. He isn't trying contact me over it and I did not do this. It will pop up and say it's getting him to join the conversation. How do I stop this?

The only reason why this would happen is because the other one opens your window and starts typing! (even without sending nothing).
Try going to account > session and there disable the one that says "WHen a contact opens a window, I want it to: ..." (click on "Do not show")

@arantes, @MissdeVamp : If you never talked since you login, it also happens?
