Hi everyone, this is my first post in this forum, but I've been using aMSN for a few months now. I'm having a problem that started between 0.97.1 and 0.98.1 (SVN version 11837also shows the problem) I use all chats in a single tabbed window, and instead of the user's nick or email, aMSN is showing .container_x.b (x being the number of the window since I've opened aMSN, starting with 0). Tried changing back to English (I use it in Spanish), but still nothing. Is anyone else seeing this? Any Ideas?
Thanks. Pablo.
EDIT: Forgot to add, I'm using XP-SP3, didn't try other OS

Hi Pablo, welcome to the forums, this is interesting, I can't reproduce the same problem... it seems to work fine here.. does it always happen 100% of the time? or does it happen from time to time ? Did you try setting it to one container per users in the same group and see if it does the same thing? or with one chat window per contact ?

Thanks for the suggestions, but still nothing. Made all tests under 0.98.1 and svn 11837 with all plugins disabled.
One window per chat (It has no tabs, so no error) One window per group (same as original post). It happens 100% of the times, but works perfectly under 0.97.
Two questions: Do you know the SVN number for 0.97.2? How do I make svn update to a specific version (instead of the latest)?
This way I could chech which checkin generated the problem.
Thanks. Pablo

Yes, I'm using the default skin. I've been downloading different revision numbers, and found that r11060 works, but r11125 doesn't. I'm binary searching first version with the problem

New Information: Up to revision 11095, work as expected, from version 11096 to 11153, it shows the first header, and from 11154 to latest 11837, it shows the second header According to svn log, both checkins are updates to topcw by square87. HTH Pablo.

haha, indeed, very good work pqreco at pinpointing the exact revision! So like square87 said (thanks for finding which setting caused this), go to preferences->advanced, search for 'nick' and enable the "Display nicks in the tabs instead of email" and it should go back to normal...
