req: Ability to change color of personal message

I would like to be able to have the personal message after contacts' names to be a bit more faded than the actual contact's name.
I tried fiddling with the skins and it seemed like </state_online> was what i'm looking for but I can't see it changing anything.
If this is already possible then I apologize.

nope, it's 'buddypsmcolor' for the psm color.
