aMSN freezes when opening router ports.

Hello!
I had a sending speed around 9 kb/s so I looked at the forum and I found that if I open 6100 to 6109 (or something like that) it would fix the problem. When I now try to log in aMSN it works good until about a minute or so and it freezes and I have to restart my computer. I have 64 bits and the newest version of aMSN.

wtf! there's no reason for it to freeze and let alone force you to reboot your computer.. something else is wrong there... make sure you didn't do something else that magically happened to cause this.

It is now working flawless when I close 6100 and 6109 port...
I did this to open the ports so you dont think that I have done something stupid while I did it.
1. I wrote ifconfig in terminal, in inet addr: 192.168.X.XXX
2. I went to my router at 192.168.0.1
3. I clicked on advance and then "port forwarding" I looked if the ip that was in inet addr was there and it was there.
4. I opened 6100 to 6109 to that address. I checked with my other program that I was doing some port forwarding too and they said it worked.
I have now closed the ports to aMSN and it is working but now I have the problem as I was trying to fix in the first place, the "uploading speed". Sometimes I even have to log out to send another file. I did this yesterday and after every file I had to log out and close aMSN and start it again..
