How to hide address book contacts under offline contacts?

as the title says, i updated my amsn n it finally hid them, making amsn loads faster, but just updated again today, and they're back and amsns slow again, is there an option in the prefs to disable the wlm address book contacts?

Hi, welcome to the forums,
What do you mean by addressbook, you mean non instant messaging contacts (the ones with an envelop next to their names?), in that case, go to the View menu, and there's a "Show non-instant-messaging contacts" option, just disable that.

Or do you want to hide the list below the "offline" bar?
In that case just click on the "offline" bar.
