beslama, welcome to the forums!
Thanks for the information!
Could you also follow the instructions here : http://amsn-project.net/wiki/SVN
and get the latest SVN version and try and test it to see if it works on snow leopard ? thanks!

What if he dowloads the latest by going to http://www.amsn-project.net/download.php and then http://amsn.sourceforge.net/amsn_dev.tar.gz That is how I update my aMSN on Mac OS X.4.11 and Mac OS. X.5.7. Both machines have PPC-processors.

Yes Bob, the instructions on http://amsn-project.net/wiki/SVN give two methods for updating to SVN, either by using the 'svn' command or by doing it like you just said...

About Snow Leopard compatibility...

Some people who are using the latest Snow Leopard 10.6 Build 10A432 (possible GM / RTM version) are saying that aMSN SVN isn't working on it.

Snow Leopard is due in about a month and a half so I hope aMSN will work by then.

Now that I have Snow Leopard installed myself I can say that aMSN svn DOES work!

Using latest SVN build on Mac OS X Snow Leopard GM (10A432) Final, and aMsn sometimes closes by itself. I had this problem one time for now, and I don't know the causes. Anyone has experienced that problem too?

xazac.. well, i can't say i have, but i don't have snow leopard either.. next time it closes unexpectadly, please press the 'Report' button to see the bug report information generated by your mac, and paste it somewhere so i can have a look at what made it crash...
thanks

Sorry kakaroto, I had to format my MacBook again and I've installed Leopard, because Snow Leopard actually is a sh*t. It's so buggy, so slow.
And webcam in aMSN on Snow Leopard I can confirm it doesn't work.

strange snow leopard for me is like 10 times faster, and not buggy. amsn is working fine for me too but i haven't updated it in months either I'm about to test a more recent version. I did notice that mac os x 10.6 installs most recent versions of tcl/tk aqua 8.4 and 8.5 though.

Snow Leopard build 10A432 (supposed to be the GM version) is not buggy for me, and runs really faster than Leopard.
I'm using Snow Leopard and working with webcam, so it's false that webcam in aMSN and Snow Leopard doesn't work. Only works with Tcl/Tk 8.5.7, and not with Tcl/Tk 8.6b1.

I have upgraded to Snow Leopard and aMSN is not longer working! I received an error message which I sent off and now every time I log on it comes up with a log.

This is also happening to my friend who has now also upgraded to Snow Leopard.

Any help? As we are having to use the standard Microsoft MSN currently.
