The release date is: when it's done!

I could write, but i'm not involved enough to be aware of latest news and be efficient ....

One way to a simple solution (and better documentation) is that a non-developer keeps a newspage up to date with the information from the git log.

This forces the developers to write proper commit messages and it releaves the developer from the newswriting tasks.

It works really well in an other project I'm involved in.

@iveqy: if you want to take on that task, then you're welcome to do so!
We already always write good commit messages, so that's not an issue, but we're all very very lazy with newswriting, so if someone wants to take on that task, we'll be glad to have him/her on board with us!
