There's a plugin. Smiley

# Notify
# This plugin comes as a replacement of the default notifications system. It uses libnotify to display messages.

Libnotify is not OSD
OSD is way cooler (see Amarok!)
Well until there is someone interested in making such a plugin, there is no support for that...

I got it work, but it works just with connected/disconnected, not for "new message by buddy"...
Is there a way to get the messages' notification work?

Hello all.

I've made a little change to the code, now it shows the received messages when no amsn are focused, and also allows to chose between showing the sender email or nickname.

The SVN diff can be found in http://pastebin.com/f3c051661 .

I hope it helps!
