query user contact status when adding a new user
«

Hi, Guys:
I am trying to add a new contact to my allow list using the sharing web services. However, I could not figure out how to get the user initial status. I can only get the status change message from the server once the user changes its status to another new status. Is there a way to get the contact's current status when adding it to the list?
Thanks

we added a new contact, its status will always be offline unless the user changes the status. We would like to know whether we can get the user's initial status via some ways.
thanks

ah ok, unrelated to amsn...
you need to send the ADL message to the notification server, look at the addUserCB proc from protocol.tcl
