welcome to the forums.. in the skins and plugins page of the website, there's a link to this how to : http://www.amsn-project.net/wiki/Installing_Plugins_and_Skins
the directory to put the skins/plugins in for aMSN portable is whatever the amsn profile or installation directory on amsn portable...
aMSN portable wasn't made by us, we don't know how they have their usb structure set so we can't help you more than that.
