Hello,
I've come to love the statistics feature in aMSN and it's one of many features that makes me a very happy user of aMSN.
Some ideas regarding the statistics that I popped up in my head is that it would be nice to be able to see..

1. how long time I've been online.
2. how much time I've spent on talking to a specific person.
3. how many messages sent/received to/from a specific user.
4. how many words sent/recieved to/from a specific user.

And the data could be shown as "past week", "past month", "total" etc.

I've also come up with some solutions on the implementations: (But I'm not a programmer so it's possible that they're not the best solutions.. Tongue)

1. It's possible that it exists some logfiles on when you connect and disconnect already. If not, the logfiles should be a good way to calculate the "uptime".
2. Read the conversation logs and calculate for how long there has been a connection to a user.
3/4. Read the conversation logs and count the words/messages.

yeah.. problem is who will ever work on that... my best suggestion is that you try and do it yourself because I'm not sure anyone will ever have time to work on something like that...
good ideas though!
welcome to the forums by the way!
