Hi there, my name is Snir and I from Israel.
In Israel we talk Hebrew, that is RTL language, and it cause some problem with aMSN..
I check the stable version and the svn of today and both not allow me to change the writing direction in the message box.
CTRL+SHIFT didn't work and any other thing I try as well.
It is really small feature request, just make the software do wrote Right to Left when needed..
And if so, checking if the text that send was in Hebrew or Arabic (both RTL languages) and if it is, in the message log do it auto direct to the right, it's much more comfortable for reading.
Tnx alot for listening (:

!!שבת שלום
Ok so Shabbat is basically over for me and 6 or 7hours past for you lol. I'm happy to see someone from Israel on the forums. Unfortunately there is limited/no support for RTL languages in aMSN right now. It has been asked many times on here. EVENTUALLY (i.e. in 2-5 years or something) when aMSN 2.x is released as a stable version there should be proper RTL support. Searching is always recommended though and you would have found the answer.

The aMSN2 is usable in the SVN version already? and if it is, how can I use it on linux/windows?
By the way, it was nice to see some more Israeli here (:

You're welcome!
Umm, I don't believe it is usable yet, I think on Linux only, you can log in and see your contact list but thats it so far, since I am on Windows I can't use it yet. Read the aMSN2 development section for more info. It's at the point where you can install and use it but the devs are not offically accepting bug reports yet because there are as expected WAY too many bugs because it's very immature and incomplete.
Thanks, I'm not Israel, just a Jew in Toronto, but close enough I hope Tongue
