[Feature Request] Background Image in conversations

Hello,

First of all, thank you for all the work you do. I'm using aMSN since nearly the first windows release and it was one of the programs which helped me leaving Microsoft and coming to GNU/Linux.

I really like youre work. It's really awesome.

I'd like to know if it would be possible having the ability to have personalised background image in conversations for every contact we have. I know this is not a 1st priority request, but it could be cool having such a feature if it is possible.

I know you have many other work, but if a plugin can be done, it would be awesome, cause I'd love to see my girlfriend on aMSN and she really like and use this candy feature on WLM.

short answer: no

Technically, aMSN uses tcl text widgets in the chatwindow. Those widgets can not have an image as their background.
The contact list doesn't use the same widgets (canvas), that's why there is an image as background. However, using a canvas in the chatwindow will not be done in aMSN.
