1 - you can't.
2 -
Code:

::skin::setKey x_notifyclose 140
::skin::setKey y_notifyclose 2
::skin::setKey x_notifydp 1
::skin::setKey y_notifydp 22
::skin::setKey x_notifytext 55
::skin::setKey y_notifytext 22
::skin::setKey width_notifytext 93

3 - didn't you say you found the solution in another thread ?

p.s.: look in gui.tcl for all ::skin::setKey lines, it's better to search there for a key than to ask and let me do the search for you.

Code:

::skin::setPixmap space_update space_update.gif
::skin::setPixmap space_noupdate space_noupdate.gif

As I said, gif is the file we look for, then .png if the .gif doesn't exist...

In a word, no. That file is programming code; it is part of Amsn, not skins.

I will drop my skinning skills.. this is to much for me....Tongue
Just kidding Wink

By the way, i was newbie when i started designing skins for amsn, but i DO read FAQs, WIKIs, etc.
And, you have many skins examples to have a look at it...
