hi!

im usuing gentoo with a 2.6.12 kernel and a logitech quickcam messenger .. it works perfectly with other programs .. but if i use it with amsn my system freezes from time to time .. it can last an hour but it can happen earlier as well .. i have no idea what it could be

any suggestions?

Try the CVS version:

http://amsn.sourceforge.net/amsn_cvs.tar.gz

There was a bug fixed some time ago.

Also: does it work OK with xawtv ?
