I can't use webcam

When I'm going to configure the webcam, aMSN crashes.

Why I have to use SVN version?

Last month I used the same version that I'm using now in Kubuntu and it runs well. Now I'm In Debian and it doesn't works.

I am using the SVN version. I think the problem might be caused because I have a video capture PCI card, which can't be made to work under linux, but the wizard still recognizes it as a video device.

Sorry, I forgot write here.

My problem was solved. With module-assistant, I installed spca or a similar module and then works ;-)
