aAmarok plugin

Hi all,
My amaroK plugin is back, with a brand new name, "aAmarok", not so original eh?

Alright so we got the version 0.5 now, which includes:
- Can format how the track information is shown
- Multiple languages support, now Turkish and French are available
- More stable now, I believe
plus all the features of the previous versions

Thanks to Oktay Doğangün for the Turkish translation and for the big help on the formating option.

is there a  reason why it's not integrated in the music plugin ?
we don't want multiple plugins for the same thing, one plugin "music" should include ALL the music player related operations.

As stated in my previous tread, this one was created because Amarok is the only music player that I use, and I don't want some bloated plugin which includes support for Windows players and Mac players. Plus, the original music plugin, well a while ago, was not chmod +x for the amarok file, so it wasn't working "on-the-fly".

alright, but now it's working. Also, the plugin is not 'bloated' it's very modular and it only uses the code needed for the plugin you specified.
If the scripts for other players are bothering you, then remove the files and that's it.
If we get everyone having their own plugins for each player they want, then we'll have a huge amount of plugins and for the user experience, this is very bad.
Please make sure that anything you want from your plugin is included in the music plugin.

The music plugin hasnt got formating display feature. So we may integrate it.

BTW I think the music plugin is not stable (at least for amaroK part of the plugin). Sometimes it makes aMSN disconnect and never connect again, untill I clean all the profile files. I couldnt understand what's the dependence between music plugin and the aMSN connection. I think MSN server kicked me for that my nick has an invalid format or something :?

Sorry to upset the aAmarok team with your plugin, but at the moment the aAmarok plugins causes aMSN to bug wanting me to send an error report, I too use amarok most and at the moment the music plugin works perfectly fine until yours is sorted I can't really use it...

OktayD, yeah, that was a bug because some songs had some special characters that weren't correctly xml encoded by the plugin, but it's been fixed a while ago.

I think your missing my or should I say our intention i tried your plugin for you to see if it's worth using instead of the music plugin because I use amarok most also but it didn't work for me when it tried adding the song to the personal message it would error and so for me it wasn't usable and so I was saying I will stick to the music plugin at the moment because it works for me.

@JasonValdron, watch your language, what the **** is wrong with you. I don't give a **** if you did it for learning or not, you do whatever you want to do, we appreciate ALL contributions. But I just told you that it cannot be accepted because it's not good usability-wise.

I'm sorry, I did not wanted to sound rude or anything. Maybe someone can actually learn something from this project.
