Thanx Fenix-TX but it is not the same problem. The problem here is that ./configure won't detect X11 - or the person doesn't have X11 installed. I am not completely sure what to answer and how to guide, so this is why I didn't answer yet.

OK, you have to install X11-devel package for Mandrake I guess. I don't know about Mandrake though, does anyone?

I don't know for mandrake, on debian/ubuntu the package name is libx11-dev, if it can help you to find it...

run ./configure again , ./configure --help if it doesn't detect it, otherwise change the Makefile manually

Look at the arguments of ./configure --help to see how to tell it the path.

I don't know - Anyone else who has Mandrake???
