Hello all.

Contact Monitor allows to see in chat window if an user (that we are chatting with) change nick, psm, music or status. There is also the possibility to log those informations.

What's new?
*Plugin name is changed. Originally it was SpyUser;
*Add an option to show infos when we just open a chatwindow;
*Add options to log our changes.

This version is in beta testing.

Link: http://in.solit.us/archives/show/60600

What do you think about? Have you some problems and/or some suggestions?

Thanks, bye.

Edit
*Changed the download link at new version.

Hi!
I've just installed your plugin, but, as far as I can see, I can only log "Personal Message" changes that occour WHILE I'm actually talking to the contact.
Is there some option I need to set to have it ALWAYS working?

Thanks.
Best regards.

I suppose there's no way I could find such option.
Will you ever add this feature?

Thanks.
Best regards.

@ Admeis :
Hi Admeis Smiley
At the moment it's not possible to integrate that feature Undecided there is the need of others events...
mmm.... let me think... :-S
Maybe... i can integrate it without use others events... I have to do some tests... but now i don't have much "free time"
Anyway some days ago i sent some new events if they will be accepted there will be also others nice features Tongue

Thanks, bye.

I'd like to request a feature:
I have custom nicks for most of my contacts, mainly because their normal "nicks" are too long to be called "nicks" (and because I want to know who they are even if they change them). But could you change the plugin so that their real "nick" appears at the start of the conversation, and if they change it during it? Right now, I get their custom nick there, which is kind of useless as I can see it whenever they send a message anyway.
The full nick of a contact still appears if I keep the mouse over the contact on the list, so it should be possible to get it.
Thanks. Smiley

Contact Monitor 0.3 beta 1

what's new?
* Log always (Admeis' suggestion, thanks)
* Show custom nicks instead of original nick, when possible (Zalbor's suggestion, thanks)
* Added an option to show a short nick in cw
* Some fixes
* Added es and pt_BR lang (Thanks to Fenix-TX and Joaquimcr)

Trivia:
If you enable "status" voice in "Log Always" every time you log-in in aMSN you log all no-offline users status.

What do you think about? Have you some suggestions?

Sorry for delay but i am very busy.
Thanks, bye.

Hi all,

I'm one of Turkish translation contributors. So it's important for me that a plugin is able to have its tr support. Unfortunately this plugin wasn't.
Turkish is a subject-object-verb language like most of the asiac languages. So I'd rather do some contributions.

* Change trans function calls such as
Code:
[trans key] $new
to
Code:
[trans key $new]

so that languages which have different word order could be translated.
* Add Turkish lang file
* Update other lang files to the new translation method (check your lang file if it is right).

BTW:
* Added "short_nick" keys in tr and en lang files.

@ OktayD
You cannot add/edit something in my plugin without asking or without sending a patch file.
You must tell me what are your suggestions, and not upload a new version.

That's not first time: http://www.amsn-project.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3188&start=45
So what don't you understand?

It was not a new release. I deleted the link anyway.
Here is only the lang files: http://www.savefile.com/files/929026
But they won't work, if you don't implement the suggestion above. So I'm waiting for your new release.

PS: under GPL, I could.

A grammatical thing: I'm not a native English speaker, but I think "has changed their nickname to" rather than "in" is the correct way to say it, isn't it?
