I've just compiled tcl/tk CVS (because is needed to get work latest amsn svn) and when i have a chat window but there isn't on the front, on the taskbar i have flickering the chatwindow, but nobody is talking. I don¡t know if i've explained well....sorry.
It's very annoying because you think that other person is talking to you...

I didn't say that the trouble was in Tcl/Tk That was just an information to precise that Tcl/Tk (which can be unstable) is not needed... About our bug, I use KDE too and I haven't any trouble... That's quite strange... I use 3.5.6

I'm using KDE 3.5.7 i don't know if this happened when i upgraded to latest amsn or latest kde because i had upgraded both at same time.. EDITED: I've uploaded a video. It's not good, but you can see this issue and again the double click contact issue on contact list: http://webs.ono.com/jesusvpct/amsn_issues.ogg

This actually happens in windows to. For no apparent reason it keeps blinking. as if it never gets focus correctly or something.

Hi, I'm using latest amsn SVN (r8818) on Slackware 11.0 with IceWM 1.2.28, and still the same problem that Fenix-TX describes.
I compiled tcl/tk from CVS some days ago too.
Regards.

Hi,
I'm still having this problem (blinking with no new messages). I'm using latest SVN revision (8849) on IceWM 1.2.28 and tcl 8.5 from CVS (compiled a week ago or so).
Does anyone still have this problem?

Hi, thank you for not forgetting me No, I'm not using beryl nor compiz, just plain icewm over xorg 6.9.0 (if that matters).
