From the SVN, revision 9105:
"Patch from square87 to improve the top of the CW : support for smileys, styles, colors (through the ColoredNicks plugin) sorry for being so much late to commit it :s"
The ColoredNicks plugin can be replaced.... or not?

@echo, read the thread you are posting on, you need to install this plugin for colored nicks to work.

I install it! I said, with windows I can use! And I think the install is same on linux and windows! I copy "colorednick" to aMsn's "plugin" lib, and I turn ON! But while it works on windows, on linux doesn't do nothing.. But thanks for your answer!

ah ok, when I read "works only in windows", I thought you were talking about the official client. Are you sure you enabled it correctly ("Load plugin")? did you configure it correctly (if necessary) ? You installed the same version of the plugin ? and more importantly, do you use the latest aMSN version on linux too (0.97) ?

Hi, I'm using this plugin in Ubuntu, it's working fine. Extract the plugin files to /home/[your username]/.amsn/plugins, load it in aMSN, and it should work What version of aMSN are you using (check in Help -> About)?

Hello Echo. What ColoredNicks version are you using?
After you enabled it and then restarted aMSN. What do you see in CL? I mean: do you still see "colored/styled tags" in users' nick or they disappear but nothing is "colored/styled"?
Bye

1 - update to 0.97 2 - update to the latest SVN version of the plugin.

@square87 - ColoredNicks 0.3.1! In CL I still see [c=...]gdsafa[/c]. etc! So nothing special! @kakaroto - Why it isn't the latest? I download it with synaptic, and there are only one aMsn! Or I need to compile if I download it from soundforge?? Beacuse I tried, but tcl (or something else) no have in my linux! And I don't know where to find it...

First of all: be polite! [c=...]---[/c] tags are supported if they cause problems you'll see a window error. So maybe you are doing something wrong. Show a screenshot. Disable all others plugins, then log-in, press ctrl-p you'll see the "Plugins Log" window. Paste plugins log here.
