Thank you square! Very Good Plugin! Just to say to the amsn team (and to you too square) that on the download sourceforge page of the amsn project, colornick is only to the 0.2.1.1 version (then the 0.3 version is out) Once again: Very good plug!

Hi Nitro86 After enabling colorednicks you have to restart aMSN (or at least re-login). Bye

That's what i've done lot of times.. and it seems that the first tags are interpreted correct, however if the nickname has, say: colored text - normal text - colored text .. then only the first sequence appears colored, for the other i see the tags, and it happens with all my contacts. Thanks for all the help, hope this will get solved soon! ^_^

Hi Nitro86 I don't have much info. You said: not everytime, i shut down amsn, reload it and some text that wasn't colored in the previous session now it is.. am i doing something wrong? So it sounds like a problem and not a real bug. Try this: Remove totally ColoredNicks from plugin directory. Restart aMSN. Go in: Select Plugins window. If you still see ColoredNicks so you have two installations of this plugin. In this case you have to remove the other installation (it should be in: /usr/share/amsn/plugins/ ). Otherwise download the last version of ColoredNicks (you didn't say what version are you using...) from here: http://in.solit.us/archives/show/71381 (restart aMSN) If the problem is still there... can you upload two screenshots of Contact List one with disabled plugin another with enabled plugin. For privacy reason, if you want you can send me the link in a PM. Thanks, bye.

that's what i get. as you see, the personal message has the tags.. btw I'm using the latest (0.3) version of the plugin on the latest version of amsn, and I verified that i don't have multiple copies of the plugin in different folders..

Hi Nitro86 Disabling all others plugins. Restart aMSN. When you are logging in press "ALT+P". You'll see Plugins Log Window look if ColoredNicks gives an error, in that case... it should. Bye

Did as you suggested, the only thing that I've noticed in the log is these lines repeating continuously: [09:32:23] core: Calling event parse_contact with variable evpar [09:32:23] core: Executing ::colorednicks::parsed_nick2 [09:32:23] core: Return 1 from event handler ::colorednicks::parsed_nick2 the word "error" is nowhere to be found, still the behavoiur of the plugin remains the same.Anything else o should look for?

Hi Nitro86. If something is not parsed you should get an error. The only thing that is not parsed is Media. That is not a problem of this plugin, but, aMSN doesn't allow that (ATM)... Then, i know there is a plugin for msn plus users that show text as Media... and as i wrote before... it's not parsed... So ask your friends if they are using that plugin... :-S P.S. Are you Italian? Bye

Don't get fooled by the note emoticon in the image I posted.. it's not really media.. it's a live messenger plugin that allows to change psm according to programs running atm. problem is, it displays the psm as media infos. so the result is the same. me and some of my friends use it cause it allows to see your own psm coloured.btw "corridoio house" gave you the right hint, I'm Italian! and if the infos bout the plugin creator are correct, you're Italian too.. ^_^

Yes... Ok so the problem with this plugin doesn't exist! To parse Media we should wait aMSN (read: someone with spare time). Amen

Hello. ColoredNicks 0.3.1 is out. ----------------- What's new? * implemented another way to draw: [c=COLORNAME]Hello[/c=COLORNAME]. Where COLORNAME can be: white, black, marine, green, red, brown, purple, orange, yellow, lime, teal, aqua, blue, pink, gray, silver. So if you don't remember the appropriate code color you can write: [c=red]Hello[/c], [c=4]Hello[/c=green], [c=yellow]Hello[/c=lime], etc... * Improved some IRC tags support * Fixed the error reported by Tipo, thanks. * Added Spanish translation thanks to Fenix-TX ----------------- Trivia: the last version has been downloaded 1293 times in 33 days (with an average of 39 times per day) ----------------- Before to post the link to download: The file is on in.solit.us if that server is down wait until it returns up. Thanks. The link is http://in.solit.us/archives/show/88829----------------- Thanks, bye.
