viewing history while offline

Hello,

I noticed that it isn't possible to view the chathistory or webcamhistory while i'm offline..

Would it be possible to view those things while not logged in ?

Btw I'm using SVN version on debian

No, it isn't possible.
You can go in your directory profile (myhome/.amsn/) and there you can find chathistory and webcamhistory.

Both are possible.
Go to "View History" in the "Contacts" menu on the contact list
to view the history of all users - including offline users.

For webcam history, you need the item right below "View History" that
says "View Webcam Sessions".

No, I think you misunderstoond me. I'm sorry i've should have made myself more clear. It's not while the contacts are offline. It's when I am offline..

No, you can't see the logs when you're disconnected, I guess because aMSN can't know which profile's logs you want to consult
You can find them where square87 told you, in the "logs" and "webcam" folders. (.txt and .cam files)

we don't want to allow anyone to view the history since it should be "private" (yes I know, they're not encrypted, but they *should* be someday....), so you probably don't want anyone having access to your pc to be able to read your logs unless they have your password...
