Login is silently, silently discarded

Current aMSN is great (once we overcame a few hidden install probs) runs great, I like teh look and feel. only one thing, i'm no longer logging in as invisible, and unless I'm still blurred from all that xmas cheer, after a few looks I still dont see the option anywhere to reenable it, was it taken out?   :?

thats all good and well saynig blah blah faq.. since we have *alreadfy* been told teh docs and faq's are notcomplete and need to be rewritten

a word search on  sil / invis  yield no results and statusand login gives a couple. which are unrelated.
if you are going to  post for the hell of it by saying FAQ, and you know its in there how about you quote teh relevant section number, because  it must be written in laton if its there.

Please excuse Phil, and I understand your feeling.
When I saw your question, I was about to answer you the exact same answer, because we really grow tired of answer the same questions over and over again, and this one was answered billions of times.
The answer to your question WAS in the FAQ.. and I really don't know what happened, I'll have to look at the FAQ's history, but it seems it somehow got the deleted from it.. I just updated the FAQ and added it again.
Yes, the docs were incomplete, but for the most part they are now, and we're trying to move them to the wiki, that's all that remains...
anyways, you could go check back the faq, but just in case, I'm pasting the answer you want in this message :

Q : How can I connect as Invisible/appear offline ? Can I connect with a different status ?
A:This feature is different from aMSN 0.94, but it's still available, don't try to find a checkbox for it in the preferences dialog, all you need to do is click on “Login as”, in the login window, there is a 'Sign in status' combobox where you can select your status, choose 'Appear offline' to connect as appear offline.

Hi, thanks, it is there now, I knew  i wasn;t gonig round the twist I'm not a newbie to aMSN, now getting used to the changes, and I trhink they are for teh better, good work
