ahhh ok, that's good then, as long as you keep the things separate, and you could have links.. for example "how to create a skin for amsn" should be in userwiki, containing a link to "if you want to know how to create new graphics, refer to Gus's wiki <url>", and in your wiki, you would have instructions on how to use inkscape, gimp, tips on how to design, etc... and your pages on instructions for amsn would redirect to the userwiki...

Hi folks! I've been very busy lately with work and developing a own application. Since the last problems on my server i had, i couldn't put the site up again cause the lack of time. Now that i am on little vacations, i am designing the site again (i cant restore the old one, cause DB problems...). So be patience and the skins will be there again, plus the new skin i will start to design in a few ( http://www.amsn-project.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3589) Just i need some time to rebuild it all (the site..). Another thing, the site URL is now http://amsnskins.lnxteam.org, I've changed it to not have only the name of aMSN, but aMSN Skins. Note: The site is mainly in Spanish now, but i will put it in English too. EDIT: Now I've redirected the old URL to this new one.

Hi folks... As some may notice, my updates to the site are quite slow, since i have too low time lately.. to much work and beside developing a own app/project. Anyway, of course i will continue with my skins. By now, I've packaged Ubuntu packages for aMSN RC1, TCL/TK8.5a6 and TCLTLS You need them all since are packaged with tcl/tk8.5a6: http://download.tuxfamily.org/amsnskins/packages/ubuntu/ By the way, if you have troubles starting aMSN like: /usr/bin/amsn: line 3: exec: wish: no found Just edit that file and change the line(3) wish for wish8.5. Thats all. Cheers.

Hi folks! Been a while since my last post, here I've updated all my packages for Ubuntu Gutsy, which includes latest aMSN svn and TCL/TK8.5b2 packages. http://download.tuxfamily.org/amsnskins/packages/ubuntu/Please be sure to download the aMSN svn package, the tcl, tk and tcltls packages as well... Enjoy! Cheers. EDIT: by the way.. with this new version of tcl/tk... amsn is consuming less resources!! On a system 512MB ram: gustavo 3336 2.5 5.3 46184 27584 ? S Oct31 4:33 wish8.5 /usr/bin/amsn A lot less! i always had wish8.5 consuming around 25% of ram and increasing with the time being running it...

as you install under /usr/ and not /usr/local shouldn't you mark this as a selectable 'alternative' to wish8.4 ?

as you install under /usr/ and not /usr/local shouldn't you mark this as a selectable 'alternative' to wish8.4 ? Yes, I know about it.. but tcl8.4 is almost not being used for another app in Ubuntu... so.. i used directly /usr instead... In case, one just could make symlinks to tclsh and wish if there is some apps that uses TCL and TK... In next packages i will modify this.
