A New Skin: Emerald

Hi people!

Well... this post is to announce that i will compile every week the SVN version of aMSN with Emerald 2.0 Skin (testing/development version).
Will be compiled with tcl/tk8.5a5 and for Ubuntu/Kubuntu Edgy.

lol, sorry for this late answer, but i don't have Mandriva and either Fedora... i just could build those packages for (K)Ubuntu i386 and AMD64 (using tcl/tk 8.5a5 or latest).
If someone wants to build these packages from those or others operating systems, please let me now. Will be nice

Well, i just downloaded the current available version of Emerald...
This is SO good
Really nice, I liked Emerald 1.0, I'm about to love 2.0

Especially your work on the smileys!!!!!!!!!!! They are wonderful !!!!!!

I have some suggestions, tell me what you think about them
 1) In the Event Boxes: would it be possible to make the different colours more visible? I mean, the little circle on the top-left is not that visible. For instance, making all the frame in this colour would make the reading easier... I think !
 2) Always in these boxes, something I don't know if it's due to the skin or to aMSN: the first line of the text is not enough far from the top border of the frame.
 3) In the smileys, on the "(k)" one (kiss), you can hardly see the border between up and down lip... I know this can sound stupid, but without the border, I wondered a few seconds what was this little red shape
 4) In the smileys again, couldn't you change the colour of the flower? Alone, it's really nice, but many people use it near the sun or a "buddy" smiley, so all this same yellow/orange colour don't make it easy to differentiate

When do you plan to release it?
It seems to be pretty advanced

Now i know! hehehe

Those Smiles are not mine, are from the OpenWengo Project. Till i finish my set of Smiles, i will use those meanwhile... because i plan to design some animated smiles inside the set too, so.. will be some time till i could release Emerald2.0 fully complete. And don't forget i will compose the sounds too.
All this takes time, and more when i have two works in the real Life.

Thanks for the Suggestions, and be patience... i am working a lot for Emerald2.0, so it could be much better than 1.0 version

PS: About the Notify windows, the text and DP space is editable... i could add more extra space from Y and X to not be so close to the borders.

I never even thought they could be a readme
But I must confess I was wrong, your readme is pretty good, thanks to it I just enabled the pixmapmenu

But I didn't see anything about OpenWengo, just something saying that icons and graphics are yours
So, OpenWengo ones are great lool ^^
As you said me you were using the WinMSN ones before doing yours, I think those new smileys were yours

Well, nice to have some news about the development of Emerald - but don't worry, I don't want you to hurry, I just want to give you my opinion about your - great - work
And it'll definitely be better than 1.0 ^^

[EDIT] Damn it... pixmapmenu is not working with your files, but works well with default ones. In fact, when I enable it with your files, I can't see the menus any more :s But when I right)click on the tray Icon, I get the pixmapped menu as I got it by default. Don't know what's going wrong
