Is there a chance (maybe in a skin) that we can have icons in the menus, like the actions and stuff? I'm thinking along the lines of cutemenus for firefox, just to make amsn a little less plain

Yes, I don't know whether it's possible or not, but I agree it's a good idea: aMSN is not very beautiful in its menus. It would be nice with colors and icons, sure.

It is possible since 8.4 so yes, we can do it, but we never did because we tried to keep compatibility with 8.3, which is now dropped, so we now can again do it... I'll ask the ML.

Just a little thing I didnt think of in my last post: I really appreciate that aMSN is so light and run easily, so does using enhanced menus take loads of memory?

In this case, it would make aMSN more beautiful, I think this could be implemented. btw, should the menu opened with rightclick on trayicon also be "iconised"? For me, yes, if, once again, it doesn't take too much memory. Perhaps could we implement this by using skins? So that each user can choose between "No icons" "Skin 1" "Skin 2" ... and not "Icons " "No icons", which is a bit short. And I don't know if, if we use these skins, they should be included in the skins we already use now, or should be different skins (perhaps so call them "themes", not to confuse names [so that "themes" would change aMSN menus, and "skins" would change aMSN CL]) I don't know if this was very clear, tell me if not

'themes' are used for chameleon's themes... and I think adding a GUI, theme chooser, theme download page, assign a theme maintainer,e tc.. is ALOT of work for nothing... the icons, when added will be part of a standard skin, that's all.
