3  The Community / Feedback and Suggestions / Multilanguage amsn Web site on: November 13, 2009, 05:30:54 pm
Hi There,
I made a script for making all default sql data(and translation) to a xml file. i hope it is useful.
updated site-source

@BW: thanks to made transparency better, but i think your new screenshots looks like a nokia advertisement Smiley
@kakaroto: 1- you have a mistake: only untranslated sql part is taken from English. So we can work to take English definitions either
2- you are right, sorry for that
And the other thing is why we dont use screenshots script for maemo pictures?
5  The Community / Feedback and Suggestions / Multilanguage amsn Web site on: November 08, 2009, 04:24:50 pm
Hi people, Here is what i am done
1. Turkish translation is done
2. I added new maemo's definition to all lang.file(xx.php)
3. I try to solve maemo's pictures size problem used some small html code
4. I changed maemo-download.png(i add alpha channel with gimp(it is need to refix, cause i am not expert), because it is looking bad when you hover on it)
5. default amsn_translation.xml(in English) fixed/cleaned
6. All changes added my amsn.tar.gz file you can download here

UTF-8 from Mac. I doesn't have a good feeling of this, but I hope it works xD.

thanks nicolunacba, you made very useful thing, the only problem is es.php didnt save with utf8 encoding. but xml files is good with utf8.

Hi, I'm still here if you need help with Spanish translation.
Thank you sabit ertan, kakaroto and nicolunacba for your work.

if you could check nicolunacba's tranlation we would appriciate .

it looks like the dates for the news are not translated for turkish...

it is server-side problem. you have to add language-base-tr to your server.
For date in SVN explanation we can add new variable in strftime function and can add new definition to xx.php
Quote from: "kakaroto"
Also Sabit, the translation for the news in turkish is not correct, the last news item doesn't have any newlines.. the one before doesn't seem to have spaces between the text and the links in it.. make sure the formatting is correct!

Thanks for attention. i will complete translation with right format today.
and if you add new news we can add them into translation.

hi nicolunacba

I was thinking something important. I was using chars like "ñ" or "á", "é", "í", "ó" and "ú", but can PHP parse it? Will I replace, for example, the ñ for ñ ñ   or ñ ?

you can directly use your characters. i add a read me file into en.tar.gz you can follow it. the key is you have to save your file with UTF8 character encoding.

hi nicolunacba. thanks for translation. but we cannot reach it this way(by clicking http://justseewhatcanewdo.99k.org/public/es.php). please archive it or just change name es.ph_ something like that. There is also an xml file on this link aMSN site default language pack(included en.php) . If you have enough time please look at that.
