Heya, I was wondering how I can set a display picture from a plugin. I have a script to process the image to the correct format, and then resize it, I just don't know how to set the image as a DP! Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry I do subscribe to the devel, but I don't have time to go through everything (I hadn't noticed a mail on this ), as I have some important exams coming up. Thanks for your response

I'm a big fan of this feature. I just have a couple of suggestions that would make this a really great feautre!! 1. Have an option to show a status icon instead of the nopic icon. 2. Have an option for how big to display the DPs (I know this is possible with changing the status icons in the skin, but an option in aMSN prefs would be good). For example, you could have 3 radios with "Do not display DP" "Small DP in the CL" or "Large DP in the CL". (This is what is in the official MSN client). Maybe even a custom option, so a skinner can set the size in their skin... Would anyone want to implement this?

Thanks that is much clearer. Is NAT activated on your router?? If it is, I *think* you need to forward port 1863 to your computer as well. Otherwise I am not sure. It must be a config problem. Are you on a large network?

Okay, you say that it failed with another program. Therefore its not a mistake with aMSN. I'm not sure what you can do really. I'm guessing it'll be a problem with your or their config to get on the web, has it also failed sending files to another user?

Yes it should work fine if you can recieve files... the FT protocol is a bit buggy, the person you were sending the files to, what MSN are they using?

Hop onto this forum for Mac help! Usually if the file won't unzip, safari has bailed out during the download (strange I know, but it happens), just redownload the file. If you pause and resume the download a couple of times, it should work. The aMSN CVS file is usually 4.1mb, just as a rough guideline.

First you should post on the amsn forum dedicated to Macs Secondly, I suppose you have to save your password... Just a side note, if we want people to post on the mac forums, why do we have a mac section here? Tom True! I would advise using the other forum for Mac related issues, as there are more users of that forum, and in general questions are answered much faster, as most questions have already been asked .
