2  The Community / Plugins / music plugin for use with deadbeef on: February 22, 2011, 07:08:24 am
I have a new lightweight music player called DeadBeef and would like to see support added for use with amsn's music plugin, please. The developer is working more on his android port lately so nothings being done with the desktop version.

Anyways, here's the DeadBeef site

How do we request to view just a webcam? Because a friend and I were trying the other day and it would just fail.

5  aMSN Support / Linux / Re: mimictools 1.0.1 and mimicdecoder 1.0.1.1 on: March 07, 2010, 06:58:09 am
No worries, no rush. I don't really need it at the moment. Just wanted to play with it again.
6  The Community / Feedback and Suggestions / Re: amsn forums show unread topics even though I marked them as read? on: March 05, 2010, 01:44:21 pm
I figured it out. The threads arent the misread ones. They're just the sticky ones and theyre bold. Apparently SMF changed the way threads are viewed. Bold ones used to mean there was a new post (or so I thought) and now there's actually a little image that says "new"

I havent come across any reference to libmimic-dev anywhere

Does anyone still use this? I tried recently to install the debs. After installing the libmimic one, I went ahead to install mimic tools but it said Im missing libmimic  Huh

That's what I have been doing. I tried clearing my cookies and cache but it made no difference. Even posts from a few years ago are showing up as recently replied.
10  The Community / Feedback and Suggestions / amsn forums show unread topics even though I marked them as read? on: January 23, 2010, 03:19:56 pm
So since the forum was hacked, I've had trouble with it. Everyday when I come here, there's icons showing new topic posts and yet when I go in it's always the same ones I've already read, no new posts. Why is it not remembering when I click Mark All As Read?
11  The Community / Plugins / music plugin with audacious2 on: August 20, 2009, 12:26:58 am
So I did a search in here and couldnt find anything about this. Apparently audacious has been updated (mine is 2.1) and no longer works with the music plugin. Could someone please look into updating it?

gupnp-igd only exist in Karmic (the development version of Ubuntu), it's not in Jaunty.
I'm using Jaunty on this machine so I don't know why there was an update but there was and it made a problem for me. I just wanted to report that it seemed to break through this repo and that I was able to recompile the svn by hand fine.

Yeah I removed it and just grabbed the svn tar off the website. It's weird though because for the longest time Ive had no trouble with this repo

Today there was an update available and I had trouble installing the lib of libgupnp-igd-1.0.2 so I removed it from /usr/lib (because it said it wouldnt overwrite it) and now when I run amsn it gives me an error about TkCxImage because it cant load  libgupnp-igd-1.0.2 in /utils/TkCxImage. I tried a whereis and got this:

Quote
kreuger@kreuger-desktop:~/Desktop$ whereis  libgupnp-igd-1.0.2
libgupnp-igd-1.0: /usr/lib/libgupnp-igd-1.0.la /usr/lib/libgupnp-igd-1.0.a /usr/lib/libgupnp-igd-1.0.so

I have no idea how to do it so please update when you can
