Hi all! I'm on ubuntu 8.10 and I've just installed ocaml on my machine, and after that, trying to open amsn (svn version): amsn says "tkCximage can't be loaded", so i've "make cleanup", "./configure" and "make" aMSN again. Everything has gone ok, compiled without any kind of error. What's the problem? Is it because I use tcl and tk 8.5 and the ocaml program installed tk8.4? Is there a way to solve this?
For any other information, ask me.
Thank you

The Community / Plugins / call a pluging function before logging in
|
on: September 25, 2008, 11:39:59 pm
|
ups, sorry for choosing the wrong section to post this question well, my plugin reads from the gnome settings the proxy settings and then sets them to aMSN. i've taken a look at the code, but is my first time in tcl.. so, i just take pieces of code from other plugins and try to see if it works. I need to call a determinate proc before the client starts to connect, so, if you change your gnome proxy settings, you just need to logout and re-login instead of reloading the plugin or re-open aMSN. I've tried the ::plugins::RegisterEvent "plugin name" OnConnect my_proc_name but seems not to work.

Hi all!
I don't know how amsn really works with plugins, so i need to call a function o my personal plugin just before logging in, i mean: when i click on the login button, then call the function of my plugin and then amsn can log in normally.
Is there a way to do this?
Thanks

aMSN Support / General / contact information fading

Hi all! Just a question: When i put my mouse on a contact, amsn shows the contact info and when the mouse gets out from the contact, the information disapper fading. If you have xgl installed, the info window will fade, then reset the opacity to 100% and then disapper as the user has setted in the configuration. So, is there a way to disable the fading of the contact info? :
Thanks
Bye

Hi all!! Just a question: i've just installed ubuntu 7.04 on my box... and i've activated the desktop effects... when a chat window is opened, i'm working on another window (like firefox or other programs) and a contact sends me a message, the chat window goes to main level... is there a possible solution to this?
(P.S.: my mind is telling me i've read a possible solution in the past... i've looked it for but didn't find)
Bye Luca

Hi all! It happens only for users who have windows live mail, i think. I've just tried with two different accounts... one with windows live mail and the other not... with the first (live mail) you'll be redirected to your email page, with the second you'll be redirected to the right page, the profile one... But i don't know why  Bye, Luke
