sorry, but not great idea, it's not a "power user" thing to be able to make the window flash, it should be done by amsn itself, should be fixed, and in the C code for linflash!

But how about the way the window flashes? use the old style? I agree that the C code should detect it, but some power user still might want the text to change instead.

Just to report, taskbar flashing works fine here using xfce-svn fresh from this morning, both with tcl/tk 8.4 & 8.5. amsn-cvs from this morning too.

Well,
I am waiting for CVS to be up and I commit a fix...
It's a partial fix !! Since XFce is totally buggy... It says it accepts the message but it doesn't do anything with it...
My fix is confirmed to work with E17, Fluxbox and FVWM...

Yes it is committed since some time ago...
The trouble with XFce will be fixed with the new version of their WM...
