Hi drchink,

for status und protocol logs open the main window of amsn and press Command+s and Command+d there
please clear them before starting to connect and censor your email from the logs

Hey! your version is too old! That bug was resolved in newer commits. Try updating it! http://www.amsn-project.net/wiki/SVN#The_Subversion_way_2

i tried updating it.
i ran and installed Subversion application, opened terminal and copied and pasted

cd /Applications/aMSN.app/Contents/Resources/
sudo rm -rf Scripts
sudo svn co https://amsn.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/amsn/trunk/amsn Scripts
sudo chmod -R 775 Scripts

but when i open amsn i get a blank box and a text box saying "console" at the top with "() 1 %"  in it
and i dont no if it matters but im on 0s x 10.4.11

i've always been doing it the The development archive way by going to that website and installing the svn like that.

Woops! Sorry I was very busy. Uh-oh. In some svn commits, I remember read that tcl 8.4 is not supported now. Leopard and Snow Leopard has 8.5 and 8.6 (Snow Leopard), but I don't know if Tiger have it.

Download again aMSN from the website. Run it. If it runs and works: excelent. If it doesn't run, my theory was right and we should "patch" the version for support it. If only I can remember when and where I saw that ...  Huh

Hi,

the only problem with tcl 8.4 I remember at the moment is this;
and as you have worked with svn rev12053, that shouldn't be the problem.
Have you tried it again with 'The development archive' ??
If that's not working, try going back to rev12053 with Subversion.

Hmmm just downgrade to an older version of aMSN .. OR! [sounds of thunder and dark music] .. or try compiling Tcl Tk 8.5 (only if you know how to do this).
