Hello thar! I’m experiencing a problem with the new aMSN (0.98.3) which did not occur in the previous version.
My internet connection is very stable, and fairly ok (50mbit), i’m running on Mac with 10.5 OS, yet aMSN keep on reconnecting randomly – Haven’t noticed if it does when I recieve messages or some other parametres, but I’m very sure it do reconnect as everybody complains about me logging on and off all the time! Is this a bug or something in the new version, or me having some issues? Never experienced this with aMSN or any other IM-client before. Also, other programs that need internet to work is not affected in any way, so I doubt it’s my connection that messes things up.

Hoping for a swift response.

::Newsflash::
Tried to download the previous version again, 0.98.1, and the issues continued. I'm totally clueless >.<
Just tried with another MSN-client, and I got the message shown at the image below. I know this forum is specific for aMSN related questions, but does anybody know what's going on with MSN messing up my connection?

The error msg tells you all that you want. (unknown error :p)
Nah, just jocking Wink. Could it be that you're having some internet problems? Because it's obvious that it's not an amsn bug.

Yeah, i figured it wasnt because of aMSN when the other client got disconnected aswell. It's just weird how msn is the only program affected by whatever the problem is. Skype, Teamspeak, Browser, Torrent DLs  - They all run smooth without any problems - Just MSN that reacts to something. Anyone got any idea of what might cause this problem?

Last night I was also having random reconnections with a "Read error" on Pidgin, so I guess it's actually a server error.

Second or third night now, and the problem proceed. Anybody else that Vivia experiencing this?
Read somewhere that it's the unix supporting MSN servers that have issues, but the news was outdated and problem then seemed to be fixed within a few hours.

Any ideas or facts? (:

It's definitly not an amsn problem because I'm logged in right now. It must be some server prob. The only thing you can do is wait a few more days. If problem remains, we'll ask you about status&protocol log and try to see if there is some kind of error.
