Hi all,

I don't know if I'm the only one encountering this problem but I just wanted to report it, if it can be of any use.
I'm using the latest PPA version of aMSN for Ubuntu Karmic (but I guess it's not a Linux-only issue). Sending my webcam was working well until the "new" version of aMSN where Farsight was de-activated due to M$ messing around with their protocol backward compatibility, however, I'm not sure if it's really linked. My webcam is correctly detected in the configuration assistant but when i want to send it to a contact, nothing works but there are different behaviours depending on the MSNP used on both side:
  • Using MSNP15, sending to WLM 8.5: request received but does not connect;
  • Using MSNP18, sending to WLM 8.5: ditto;
  • Using MSNP15, sending to WLM 2k9: ditto;
  • Using MSNP18, sending to WLM 2k9: request NOT received... actually nothing happens... Even if I'm asked to send my webcam, I don't receive the request either.
Thank you for any support you could provide ^^
