Hello,

I'd like to have the size of avatars in contact list reduced, because I have a portable computer with a small screen.
Until the version 0.97, the size of the avatars depended on the size of the images in the "pixmap" folder of the skin.
But, since the version 0.98, the size of avatars in contact list seems fixed. It doesn't change if the script changes.
Is it a place where the size can be reduced ?

the size is dependent on the size of the buddy icons of the skin, unless you enable the "detailed view" option in the View menu.

This is exactly the heart of my question. The detailed view is activated, and in the 0.97 version, the size was the same of the buddy icons. Since 0.98, the size is fixed. I'd like to know if there is a way to change the detailed view avatar size.

I'm sorry I didn't explain properly my problem, I turned my aMSN client into english language and now I can explain it more precisely.
In fact, in the "View" menu, the "Detailed view" is disabled.
What changes the size of the avatars is whether I check or not "Show thumbnails of contacts Display Pictures in Contact List".
When this option is checked, the size of the avatars (=pictures) is bigger than the buddy icons of my skin (which are 22x22 images).
Until the 0.97 version, it was the same size.
I guess that a minimum size for the pictures has been entered somewhere in the configuration and I'd like to know if there's a way to modify it (even if I need to edit the GUI TCL).

I think I still can't understand your question/problem, and I'm really sorry about that.
Could you make a screenshot?

Hi,
Before, we used the same size as the buddy icons because that's all we had as a reference.. but now, it's even better.. as you can clearly notice there is a frame surrounding the display pictures (red square around the image for busy contacts) and you also get a busy/away/blocked/etc.. 'emblem' overlayed on top of the avatar. These are the images that now define the size... Go have a look at the 'plain_emblem' and resize it to whatever size you want, the avatars will use the size of that image...
Hope that helps!
