Hello, I have a problem with the contact list ..
On MSN that I use for my company is too long a list of contacts ... are over 1000 ...
For this reason I always see "delete the list is full ..." and not add a new contact...
But I need all the contacts ... I can not erase ...
I thought to seek the line of code loads the contacts to the list and prevent loading ... this is possible?
Can not find exactly where that action takes place in the code ...
Or if someone is a better idea?
I can not generate a new email because this is printed on fliers and advertisements ...
Thank you very much for your help ... greetings...

:/
This is not aMsn limitation, but MSN Servers limitation! An account can't have more that X contacts, and it seems that you're over that limit. THe only thing that I can think of is creating anew account, but as you said, you can't, so, I'm out of ideas. I'll ping kkrt and ask him if there is any possibility...but...if I were you I'd start creating a new account and moving some contacts...

Hi,
it is indeed a server limitation of 1500 contacts, you can't have more than that.. and you're lucky, it was 150 contacts a few years ago, then 500, and now it's 1500, I don't think anyone would need more than that, and I don't think it's a good idea to be using more than that, it will be a huge memory and cpu hog.
There is no solution, apart from deleting people or using an another account, but in my opinion, using an MSN account for doing business and depending on microsoft's server is a bad idea.. also, I'd suggest you learn what an addressbook is, rather than keeping your contacts in MSN.. to me, it just doesn't make sense (and you can always contact someone even if you don't have them on your list, as long as you add them, then delete them after they accept you).

hello, thank you very much for answering ... this is a real problem for me ... they really need me to have me, not I to them, because they always contact me, and not vice versa ... I thought there was any way that can be added, but that is not reciprocal ... greetings

As kakaroto said, you _really_ should learn what an adressbook is and start using it, instead of using wlm. go and google for it and you'll see that it's really helpful.

@comettom: if *they* contact you, then they could add you to *their* list.. and you don't need to have them in your list for it to work.. all you'd have to do is go to the preferences window, privacy tab, and there's an option "Allow all users to contact me except for those I blocked", enable it and then everyone will be able to see you online and contact you even if you don't have them in your own contact list...

Ps.: this was the wrong section of the forum, I'm moving this thread to the general support forum.

hello, delete contacts (1300 had in my contact list), delete all entrances abook.xml of such contacts, but still view "delete the list is full ..."
I can keep adding (and add about 200 new) .. so this way of working works ..

What part of the code that can remove or ignore the message?
You can delete the contact time accepting it?.. part of the code that I do this?

I am new to programming in tcl, but I made several modifications that work really well ...

Please excuse my English is not good ... and thank you very much for answering ...

I could get the poster for "list is full" ... achieve clear the list of contacts ... I only listed about 50, previous contacts still see me online and functioning properly, the problem is that when add new contacts, do not see my state ... Does anyone know how to fix this?

Oh, come on! Still trying to have all those contacts? We told you to learn how to use an adress book!
If you want to get rid of of that message that says that your contact list is full delete some contacts (and also delete them from your msn address book, or something like that) I mean, the thingy in your msn account that will let you select a contact when writing an email.
