If the group member is larger than 4, sometimes aMSN only display the first 3 member's picture. the scroll bar to scroll down in the picture list may be missing. By re-sizing the picture, in some case the scroll bar will re-appear again.

Just to clarify again.
The bug may not be related to how many people in the chat group, but trigged by people who join or leave the chat.
That is, if I'm the last one to join the group, the scroll bar will always be show and normal. If there are people join afterward, the scroll bar may disappear. Then, if people leave the group, the scroll bar may reappear or disappear again after each one.

Hi all,
maybe I found a way to reproduce this easily:
you resize the window until the displaypicture of your contact doesn't fit into the window any more
(the button to hide the displaypictureframe (ToggleShowTopPicture) still has to fit...)
then you change the size of your contact's displaypicture
the scrollbar appears and disappears like described in the group chat case
in both cases ::amsn::UpdatePictures is called and using this proc the same thing happens
