Hi, i hope anyone can help me. I would like to know if i can delete all the contacts in my RL list. I have someundesirable contacts, that i had already deleted, but the contacts are still in those lists. Is there any way to do that? I want to delete them once and for all. Can anyone hel me?

Thanks.

Hi patrix,

the Reverse List (RL) contains the email addresses of people who have you in their list.
Therefore you can't delete them yourself, they would have to...

I hope that answers you question

I did think so. I know these emails address are located in the servers of MS, but i had my hopes on an alternative way, maybe editing the configuration file, or asking for MS Support to block them.

This means that i always have the possibility to recover my contacts despite i delete them occasionally ?? that sounds great, with amsn we can manage a backup list of ALL contacts, however what about privacy ?

Thanks BW for your answer.

What about it ? I don't really understand your problem .. Why do you care whether they are in the reverse list or not as long as they are blocked ?

Hi arantes, the problem comes down to Spam, i get spam from the some contacts in that list, and others i would like they dont have me in theis messenger, so they still have mi email address.

the only way to remove them from that list, is to email/phone/sms/message those people, and tell them "look, I deleted you from my list, we never talk, so it's useless, would you be kind enough to delete me from your list too? thanks and adios!"

kakaroto, that's a friendly proposition, but when you have undesirable contacts, abd they are always disturbing me, i would like they not to realize, i deleted them.

thanks

But if they are in the block list they cannot disturb you ! I really don't get it ..
If it was possible, deleting them from the RL wouldn't stop them spamming you or whatever.
