Hi,

I'm using Ubuntu 9.10, 64 bits, amsn 0.98.1 (but I tried the development version too and got the same error).
I had some problems after installing farsight as explained in the wiki tutorial. I followed the steps explained and got all the expected reactions, until I svn updated my amsn version, typed the "./configure" and the "make" commands again and got an error message when starting the program. I got a message that's actually in portuguese, but I'll try to translate it here, so you all can understand: "The configuration file is corrupted. Creating new configuration. The old configuration will be saved in /home/tairoesp/.amsn/config.xml.old. Please, send us the file so we can analyse the problem."
Do you know what happened with my configuration? I was just happy that I'd finally installed farsight and I got this error. I hope you know the solution for this!

Thank you too much!

I think I got a solution for my problem. I just deleted the files on the /.amsn folder (I did it expecting a reinstall or something in this way). Now, everything is back to normal. I just need to test my cam, but farsight is configured and working.
